ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
All staff shall be trained in fire prevention, fire extinguishers, fire hazards, the use of fire blankets and fire escapes
The police shall be summoned to any incident of crimeor disorder
There shall be no overcrowding in the shop area
All exits at Annex 4 and escape routes to those exits (including external escape routes) from the premises shall be maintained in good repair, correct working order and kept free from all obstructions and shall be available for immediate use when the public are on the premises. Those routes shall be well illuminated.
All unnecessary noise shall be discouraged
Customers shall be discouraged from gathering at the front of the premises
Any children entering the premises alone after 2300 hours shall be reported to the Police
Staff shall be trained to promote the protection of children from harm licensing objective
The staircase leading from the 1st Floor into the rear kitchen shall be provided with a self closing fire door of a minimum 30 minutes fire resistence, at the top of the staircase.
The final exit at the rear of the premises shall be available for immediate use at all times the premises are occupied for licensable activities and the method of operation of that door must be by means other than a key.
Half hour fire separation must be provided between the front of the shop area and the rear kitchen, with any fire doors provided being FD30's with self closing devices and they must meet relevant British Standards.
Linked fire detection shall be provided between ground, 1st and 2nd floors by means of heat detection in both front and rear kitchen areas and smoke detection at 1st and 2nd floor level. Any alarm fitted must comply with the British Standard 5839 category L5
Emergency lighting shall be provided to the rear staircase down into the kitchen area and to a place of safety outside the rear of the premises. Any system provided shall comply with British Standard 5266.
Exit signage shall be provided to all escape routes and final exit doorsand must comply with British Standard 5499.
