ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
This premises licence covers both the ground and first floor of the premises.
No child shall be employed so long as he/she is under the age of 14 years to do any work other than light work or before the close of school hours on any day on which he/she is required to attend school or before 7 o’clock in the morning or after 7 o’clock in the evening on any day or for more than 2 hours on any day on which he/she is required to attend school or for more than 2 hours on a Sunday or more than 35 hours, or if he/she is under the age of 15 years, for more than 25 hours in any week in which he/she is not required to attend school or for more than 4 hours in any day without a rest break of 1 hour or at any time in a year unless at that time he or she has had, or could still have, during the period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder
All external doors and windows shall be closed shall be closed at midnight except in the the event of an emergancy with the exception of -
(i) The front door of the premises to remain open to facilitate access or egress.
(ii) The inner door of the front entrance to be kept closed except in the event of an emergancy or to facilitate immediate access or egress.
The designated premises supervisor will ensure that the immediate vicinity of the premises will be cleaned at regular intervals including when the premises closes and every morning.
A system of emergency lighting shall be provided. There shall be weekly tests of emergency lighting, fire alarm and fire extinguishers
All external doors/windows must be kept closed at all times other than in an emergency or for immediate access or egress
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
No child under the age of 16 years shall be permitted to enter or remain in the premises unless accompanied by a person of at least 18 years.
Where there is the provision of facilities for making music, the Designated Premises Supervisor shall retain control of amplification equipment and volume levels to promote the licensing objectives.
Risk assessments both general and for specific events shall be undertaken
A CCTV system shall be operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public
The Designated Premises Supervisor shall ensure that all stairways are kept clear at all times the premises are open to the public.
The Designated Premises Supervor shall maintain control of all regulated entertainment amplification volume levels and the public shall not have access to amplification equipment or volume control levels.
