ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 18(4) & 18(5) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
The premises shall be operated as a bona fide qualifying club licensable activities being confined to members of the club and a member's guests only
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. The above restriction does not apply to the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
Where there is an entertainment for children or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds 100 it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while entering and leaving the building or an part thereof, and to take all reasonable precautions for the safety of the children.
The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder when permitting for hire or reward, the building to be used for the purpose of an entertainment, shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the observance of the provision of the above provision
No person under the age of 16 years and no child aged 16 years shall take part in any performance to which Section 37 (2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 applies, and in which his life or limbs are endangered.
Access to the premises shall be controlled by key entry.
When necessary, a ticket only entry system shall be used to prevent overcrowding
A CCTV system shall be operated at the premises in liaison with and to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary
There shall be adequate car park lighting
Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook or check sheet kept for that purpose. That logbook or check sheet shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
Fire extinguishers and emergency lighting shall be maintained by a qualified engineer to current British Standards and such certificates shall be available for inspection
No portable electrical equipment used in connection with regulated entertainment shall be connected to the mains electrical circuit except via a residual current detection device unless the mains circuit is isolated from the lighting and emergency lighting circuits by means of a circuit breaker at the distribution board
The maximum number of persons including staff and entertainers in the function room shall not exceed 120 or 100 persons excluding staff and entertainers.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by members and their guests, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency or to facilitate immediate access or egress.
Refuse and bottles shall only be disposed of and deliveries of alcohol from brewery received during normal business hours.
No person under the age of 18 years shall be allowed to enter or remain on the premises unless accompanied by a person of at least 18 years of age.
Any Section 31 0r 34(5)(e) Gaming Act 1968 or Category B or C Gambling Act 2005 machine shall be played by a person under the age of 18 years.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
No person under the age of 18 years shall be allowed behind the bar of the club
