ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003.
The prevention of crime and disorder
The premises has comprehensive CCTV coverage. The system records, the data is retained for 31 days and will be made to the authorities on request.
There will be a member of staff on duty who can facilitate downloads of CCTV footage when the premises are open to the public.
Whenever the DPS is not at the premises another person shall be nominated by them to be responsible person to manage the premises.
The premises will use an incident book to record any crime and disorder/refusals/toilet checks/found property etc.
That all staff involved with alcohol sales will receive documented training around underage sales and serving to drunks.
Public safety
No customers will be allowed to take open cans/bottles/ or glasses off. Any sales of alcohol specifically for off site consumption shall be sold in sealed containers.
Registered door staff will be employed at the premises as and when the premises licence holder sees appropriate. When open to the public a minimum of 2 door staff will be on duty from 10pm until the close of business Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Years Eve.
The prevention of public nuisance
Clear signage deployed to indicate CCTV use both prior to entry and whilst within the premises.
Amplified music and speech should not be played at volumes that are likely to cause disturbance to noise sensitive premises in the neighbourhood.
Doors and windows should be kept closed. Doors should only be opened to allow access, or for persons, to leave the premises and acoustic doors or lobbies should be fitted to prevent noise breakout.
Deliveries of alcohol will not take place between 18.00 and 08.00 hours ( apart from Christmas and New Year period where deliveries can be ad hoc).
Refuse and/or bottles will not be placed into external receptacles between the hours of 1800 and 0800 hours.
The protection of children from harm
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide ID to prove that they are over the age of 18.
Only the UK photo driving licence, passport, or PASS logo cards will be accepted as proof of age.
