ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
All members of management shall be trained to promote the licensing objectives
The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder
There shall be a zero tolerance drugs policy in operation referred to in Paragraph 7.61 to 7.64 Statutory Guidance to the Act and Safer Clubbing publication
The premises shall be closed at police request during specific times without the requirement for a closure order on the occasion of a local football match
The Premises licence holder and the designated premises supervisor shall at all times comply with the Portman Group Code of Practice and with the requirements or recommendations of any Portman Group Retailer Alert Bulletin.
The grounds of the premises shall be kept tidy and their condition shall not be the cause of nuisance
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency or to facilitate immediate access or egress.
Windows shall be kept locked with a key to be in the possession of management only
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
No unlicensable music shall be played in any external parts of the premises and external areas of the premises will cease to be used by customers for the purposes of consumption of alcohol at 22.00 hours.
No customers under the age of 16 will be on the premises after 21.00 unless having a table meal with at least one responsible adult.
Persons under the age of 18 years shall be excluded from the premises / part of the premises on any occasion deemed appropriate by management to promote the licensing objectives
Any Section 34(5)(e) Gaming Act 1968 or Category C Gambling Act 2005 machine shall be sited within view of the bar
