ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003.
To make sure signage on the premises regarding the laws of the government and council are clear i.e. age limits, drugs, violence, noise.
To ensure safety of the public at all times when on our premises and protection. i.e. fire exits clearly illuminated, extinguishers serviced and in full view.
Premises will control sales of alcohol to underage and drunks.
Noise pollution and music levels will be monitored and kept within a reasonable limit and legal requirements.
Toughened glass will be used were possible.
Premises will join pub watch and attend meetings.
Telephone numbers will be kept of other licensed premises.
To monitor public house personally at all times.
Capacity of premises will be kept to a safe level.
Signs will be placed on exit doors regarding noise and no bottles or glasses to leave the building.
Smoke detectors placed all round the building.
Inform staff of emergency procedures.
Local Taxi firms will be asked not to use their horns but to come into the pub.
DJ announcements will be made asking the public to leave quietly.
The premises will be supervised at all times during licensed hours to prevent any misconduct.
Cigarette and gaming machines to be in full view of the bar.
Signage to be placed around the building to ensure age limits are adhered to.
Restriction of access to bar area to minors.
Children to be escorted at all times by responsible adult.
During the premises opening hours all the windows in the gents WC will be kept closed by means of window locks.
The smoking area for the pub will be the side of the premises only.
No public access will allowed at the rear of the premises.
No music speakers will be fitted in the pool table area/room of the pub, i.e. the area which adjoins the next door property.
The premises licence holder will ensure that a thick carpet is fitted in the pool table area.
The premises licence holder will ensure that the wall in the pool table room adjoining the next door property is sound proofed with a polystyrene type material.
Any speakers or music amplifiers placed in the premises will face away from the property adjoining the premises.
The premises will only advertise taxi companies who offer a call back system.
The premise licence holder will not allow taxi companies to advertise on the premises who sound their horns.
The premise licence holder will ensure the cellar cooling equipment is serviced and repaired prior to the premises opening and serviced at regular intervals thereafter.
CCTV system to be installed operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Lancashire Constabulary. The CCTV will cover all internal areas, using appropriate cameras in poorly lit areas, as well as the exterior of the premises in areas that may be used by smokers etc. These images must be retained for a period of at least 21 days and be made available to Police or Local Authority licensing officers upon request.
The premises will adopt the 'Challenge 21' scheme.
Staff training to be undertaken in relation to the sale of alcohol and other age restricted products.
