ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
All staff will be trained in the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and drugs awareness to a minimum standard detailed in Paragraph 7.61 to 7.64 Statutory Guidance to the Act.
There shall be a zero tolerance drugs policy to a standard of Safer Clubbing and detailed in Section 7.61 to 7.64 Statutory Guidance Licensing Act 2003
The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.
The Premises licence and the designated premises supervisor shall at all times comply with the Portman Group Code of Practice and with the requirements or recommendations of any Portman Group Retailer Alert Bulletin
There shall be no irresponsible drinks promotions which would contravene the British Beer and Pub Association Code of Practice on Point of Sales Promotions
An accident book and adequate First Aid kit shall be available at all times the premises are open to the public
Fire extinguishers shall be maintained as detailed in Annex 4
Printed notices shall be prominently displayed in the premises detailing the essential steps that must be taken if a fire is discovered or the fire alarm goes off or other emergency arises and how to call the Fire Service.
An incident book shall be maintained in which shall be detailed ;
Accidents
Disorder
Entry refusals
Police attendance
All fire doors shall be subject to pre-opening safety checks and emergency lighting shall be checked regularly
Live Music will end at midnight unless an embedded benefit under Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003 and on the occasion of the 31st December and 1st January
Recorded music will be reduced to a background music non-licensable level during a recognisable wind down period to create a mood change
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when when necessary to reduce noise levels.
The beer garden shall be closed to the public after 2100 hours
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder
No person under the age of 18 years of age shall be admitted to the premises unless accompanied by a person of at least 18 years of age
