ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
All staff shall be trained in drugs awareness to the minimum standard in Safer Clubbing referred to in Section 7.61 of the Statutory Guidance Licensing Act 2003. There shall be a zero tolerance drugs policy in accordance with the above.
All staff will be trained on the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.
The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.
The premises shall have an accident book, adequate supply of first aid equipment and display fire action notices.
An incident log book will be maintained at the premises where any incident of an accident, disorder, entry refusals and Police attendance will be recorded.
All windows and doors will be kept closed where and when necessary to reduce noise levels and all windows facing Whalley Road will be kept closed at all times except in an emergency. The vestibule door on Whalley Road side of the building, will be closed and will only be used during the actual entry and exits of customers. This will be monitored by staff at all times.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
All outside areas of the premises used for the consumption of alcohol will be closed to the public at or before 23:00 hours
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union Member State bearing a photograph and birth date of the holder.
CCTV will be in operation will be retained 31 days and will be available to the Police or other responsible authorities on request.
No irresponsible sales promotions of alcoholic beverages shall be offered to customers.
No customers carrying open or sealed bottles shall be admitted to the premises at any time that the premises are open to the public.
A sign will be located on the premises indicating the standard hours during which the sale of alcohol is permitted.
All fire doors will be maintained effectively and shall be self-closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.
Notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergencies, including how the fire brigade shall be summoned, are to be prominently displayed.
During the performance of regulated entertainment all windows and doors shall remain closed except for entrance and exit from the premises.
