ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
General
The restrictions upon sale of alcohol shall not prohibit ;
above restrictions do not prohibit:
consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
There shall be maintained a stock of non-alcoholic drinks which shall be available
The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.
Any Section 34(5e) Gaming Act 1968 or Category C Gambling Act 2005 Machine shall be sited within view of the bar
Prevention of crime and disorder
A CCTV system shall be installed, maintained and operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public. The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days and shall be given in a transferrable form to a police officer upon demand.
Appropriate drug prevention signs to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary shall be prominently displayed in the premise
Public Safety
The premises shall not be altered in order that the entrance to the toilet facilities shall not be visible from the bar and such toilets shall be regularly checked to prevent drug misuse
A burglar and fire alarm shall be installed and maintained to current British Standards
Emergency lighting shall be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
Drink-Driving prevention posters shall be displayed in the premises
All emergency exits and escape routes shall be maintained unobstructed and available for immediate use at all times the premises are open to the public
Adequate Fire Extinguishers shall be available at all times the premises are open to the public
Any patron causing a nuisance will be barred from the premises
Prevention of public nuisance
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed at all times when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency or to facilitate immediate access or egress.
The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.
No persons are allowed to consume any type of drink outside the premises after 00.00 hours Monday to Sunday
There will be no regulated entertainment outside the premises other than the hours of 11.00 to 19.00 for a maximum of 10 occasions per calendar year. The premise licence holder must notify Licensing Authority and Lancashire Constabulary licensing officer at least one week before the event is to take place
Exterior lighting shall be illuminated whilst the premises are open to the public
All glassware shall be toughened glass where such product is commercially available
Protection of children from harm
No person under the age of 18 years shall be allowed to enter or remain on the premises unless accompanied by a person of at least 18 years, or on a pre-arranged special occasion, and shall not enter or remain in the vault or games room
