CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours detailed in this licence. The above restrictions do not prohibit:
consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces;
the taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of liquor so supplied, if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
No person under 14 years of age shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours unless one of the following applies;
(1) He is the child of the holder of the premises licence;
(2) He resides in the premises, but is not employed there;
(3) He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of the premises which is not a bar and to or from which there is no other convenient means of access or egress;
(4) The bar is in the railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, fitted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which the holding of the licence is ancillary. In this condition “bar” includes any place exclusively or mainly used for the consumption of intoxicating liquor. But an area is not a bar when it is usual for it to be, and it is, set apart for the service of table meals and alcohol is only sold or supplied to persons as an ancillary to their table meals.

Where there is an entertainment for children or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds 100 it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while entering and leaving the building or an part thereof, and to take all reasonable precautions for the safety of the children.
The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder when permitting for hire or reward, the building to be used for the purpose of an entertainment, shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the observance of the provision of the above provision
No person under the age of 16 years and no child aged 16 years shall take part in any performance to which Section 37 (2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 applies, and in which his life or limbs are endangered.
A Challenge 25 policy must be adopted and enforced at the premises whereby anyone who appears to look under the age of 25 will be asked to provide proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- U K Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder

All staff involved in the sale, supply or provision of alcohol must be trained in relation to the licensing objectives. Refresher training must be undertaken and all training must be documented and made available to an authorised officer upon request.
A colour CCTV system shall be installed in the premises and will display on any recording the time and date of the recording and;
The system will be operated during all permitted hours
The cameras shall be sufficient in number to view any area used for licensable activity and any exit/entry and the area immediately outside the main entrance.
Signs must be displayed in the premises to indicate that CCTV is in use and when dealing with incidents or unruly behaviour, staff should indicate that CCTV is recording the incident.
The system must be kept in working order, and must be regularly maintained and any faults rectified immediately.
Images and recordings must be kept for 28 days and must be available to the police or any authorised officer promptly upon request. Staff must be trained to access and operate the system and download images.
The recordings must be capable of being accessed and downloaded to another format (e.g. a USB stick or DVD or other recognised format)
Appropriate signage must be displayed on the premises telling people that CCTV is in operation
A competent person trained in the use of the CCTV system must be in attendance at the premises at all times that licensable activities are taking place. The competent person must be available to fully operate the CCTV system and be able to download data in a recognised format when requested by an authorised officer or police officer.
An Incident register of all occurrences, refusals of sales, ejections from the premises must be maintained at the premises and any details of public order incidents must be recorded. The log should be made available upon the request of an authorised officer or police officer.
The premises must have in place a written zero tolerance drug policy. The policy must be enforced at all times.
Refuse and/or bottles must not be placed into outside receptacles between the hours of 1800 and 0800
Management must make sure that the area outside of the premises is kept clean and tidy and free from litter at all times.
The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at the meetings of the Pub and Club Watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.
Glasses will be cleared regularly from tables
All emergency escape routes will be kept free from obstruction
Customers must not be allowed to congregate near emergency exits
There shall be no overcrowding in the premises, maximum numbers derived from a risk assessment shall not be exceeded
No glassware or bottles in unsealed containers shall be taken from the premises outside for consumption or other purpose
No person under the age of 18 years shall be admitted to or be allowed to remain in the premises unless accompanied by a person of at least 18 years.
All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency or to facilitate immediate access or egress. The designated premise supervisor (DPS) is to control the volume at which music is played with periodic checks made outside of the premises by the DPS, or an appointed member of staff to monitor the noise level from the premises to ensure no nuisance is caused to noise sensitive premises.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
