ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
(This premises has had structural alterations to the entrance and the bar area of the premises)
Alcohol may be sold or supplied:
(1) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve from 11am to 12pm.
(2) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, and on Good Friday: 12 noon to 11:30pm
(3) On Christmas Day: 12 noon to 11:30pm;
(4) On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 11 a.m. to midnight;
(5) On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 11.30 p.m.
(6) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
Alcohol may be sold or supplied during permitted hours. The above restrictions do not prohibit:
(a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
(b) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
(c) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals;
(d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises.
Suitable non-alcoholic beverages, including drinking water, shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises.
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as an ancillary to their meal.
A CCTV system shall be operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public.
A system of emergency lighting and alarms shall be installed and maintained to the satisfaction of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
No nuisance shall be caused by noise coming from the premises or by vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises to noise sensitive premises in the vicinity.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 18 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following or refused service:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder
