ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 18(4) & 18(5) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
The premises shall be operated as a bona fide qualifying club licensable activities being confined to members of the club and a member's guests only
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
CCTV surveillance shall be maintained to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary coupled with the door entry system which shall monitor arrivals and departures at the Club's main doors.
Guests of members must be signed in by the member before their entry into the Club.
Members of staff shall be instructed not to admit or serve members and their guests who behave in a drunk and disorderly manner. Any misconduct will warrant disciplinary action by a Committee in accordance with the Club's rules.
Notices shall be prominently displayed in the premises detailing the essential steps that must be taken if a fire is discovered or the fire alarm goes off or other emergency arises and how to call the Fire Service.
Emergency escape routes notices shall be displayed in the premises where they can be clearly seen and read.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, or member and their guests notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Noise from music and associated sources (including D.J.'s and amplified voices) shall not be audible at the boundary of any neighbouring residential premises at any time.
A notice or notices shall be displayed at the bar of the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
Persons under the age of 18 years shall not be allowed in the Club, unless accompanied by an adult member or bona fide guest above the age of 18 and can remain in the Club only until 20.00 hours.
Prior to trading the following will be checked by the steward and a record kept;
1. All doors forming part of the means of escape are functional and unobstructed.
2. All signage is in place and readable.
3. All replacement furniture will comply with the relevant British standard.
4. All safety certificates will be maintained valid.
5. The club will ensure that the use of any temporary electrical installations will be limited to an RCD protected circuit.
6. Following the completion of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment the proposed seating arrangements will be included on the plan forming part of the application.
