ANNEX 1
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.
In this condition, permitted hours means:
a. On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.;
b. On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.;
c. On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.;
d. On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.;
e. On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30 p.m.;
f. On Christmas day, as provided by the rules of the club and notified in writing by the chairman or secretary of the club to the chief executive of the justices for the petty sessions area in which the premises are. The said hours shall:
i. not exceed six and a half hours;
ii. not begin earlier than 12 noon;
iii. not end later than 10.30 p.m.
iv. provide for a break of at least 2 hours, including 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.;
v. not extend for more than three and a half hours after 5 p.m.
The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
g. On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
ANNEX 2
PUBLIC SAFETY
1. At any occasion when the number of persons on the premises is considered likely to exceed the safe occupancy limit (i.e. 100 in the whole of the building with a maximum of 60 at ground floor) the number of persons allowed to be on the premises will be controlled by the use of tickets.
2. A log book will be provided which will contain records of the following safety checks:
a. All escape routes are unlocked and unobstructed;
b. The fire alarm user tests;
c. The emergency lights user tests;
d. Confirmation as to whether the electrical installation requires testing;
e. Confirmation as to whether the gas installation needs testing;
f. Confirmation as to whether the fire extinguishers need testing.
3. In the event of replacement or refurbishment of any soft furnishings, curtains or drapes, etc certificates will be obtained and retained as evidence of compliance with the appropriate standard of fire retardancy.
PUBLIC NUISANCE
1. Refuse will be disposed of between 08:00 and 17:00.
2. Deliveries will normally take place between 08:00 and 17:00.
3. At any time when regulated entertainment is taking place periodic noise monitoring of the outside of the building will be undertaken by a responsible person.
