Additional Conditions

ANNEX 1 MANDATORY CONDITIONS

No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence at a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) in respect of the Premises Licence or at a time when the DPS does not hold a Personal Licence or their Licence is suspended.

Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a Personal Licence.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) & 6(8) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003.

A CCTV system shall be installed, maintained and operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public. The coverage of cameras shall cover the main entrance and external vicinity.

The licence holder and/or the designated premises supervisor or a person nominated by them shall be a member of and regularly attend at meetings of the Pub and Club watch schemes for the area within which the premises is located.

Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
-              A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
-              Photo driving licence
-              Passport
-              Citizen card supported by the Home Office
-              Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a photograph and birth of the holder

No irresponsible promotions of alcoholic drinks shall be offered to customers.

No customers carrying open or sealed bottles shall be admitted to the premises at any time that the premises are open to the public.

All fire doors will be maintained, self closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.

Notices detailing fire actions to be taken in the event of a fire or other emergencies, including how the fire service will be called will be prominently displayed.

Amplified music and speech should not be played at volumes that are likely to cause disturbance to noise sensitive premises in the neighbourhood.

Doors and windows should be kept closed. Doors should only be opened to allow access, or for persons to leave the premises and acoustic doors or lobbies should be fitted to prevent noise break out.

Loudspeakers should not be located near wall or ceiling mounted extractors.

DJ's and other performers should be informed prior to events taking place, not to disturb persons in the neighbourhood from their activities.

DJ's and other performers should be monitored by the licensee or other suitable designated member of staff to ensure that they do not disturb persons in the neighbourhood from their activities.

There should be no loud speakers or amplification equipment used in external areas.

Clear legible notices should be displayed at entrances and exits requesting customers respect the needs of residents and to leave the area quietly.
