ANNEX 2 CONDITIONS IMPOSED BY VIRTUE OF BEING CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
A CCTV system shall be installed, maintained and operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 28 days and images from the system shall be given to Lancashire Constabulary or the Licensing Authority upon demand.
A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
A burglar alarm system incorporating a personal attack alarm or panic button shall be installed and maintained to the satsifaction of Lancashire Constabulary.
All reasonable requests in the interests of public safety of the Fire Safety Officer, Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service shall be complied with.
No deliveries will take place between 23:00 to 06:00 hours the following day.
All staff shall receive training to prevent under age sales of alcohol.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union Member State bearing a photograph and birth date of the holder
There shall be an electronic cash register system in use which incorporates an age check prompt when bar coded alcohol items are pased through the system.
A refusals book shall be maintained to record all challenges and refused sales to persons who cannot comply with the above conditions.
