ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH OPERATING SCHEDULE
The prevention of crime and disorder
Installation of a high quality colour CCTV system which is DVD recordable on a hard drive with offsite recording. Cameras installed on all stair areas and main bar area.
That CCTV images be retained for at least 28 days and that a member of staff will always be available to download such images when the premises are open to the public.
That the premises will use an Incident Book to record any incidents of crime and disorder / refusals and found property. This book must be available for inspection
That all staff concerned with alcohol sales will receive documented training with regards underage sales and serving to drunks.
Member of Pubwatch scheme and any other relevant groups
Police radio in working order.
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
*A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail
Consortiums Proof of Standards Scheme(pass)
*Photo driving Licence
*Passport
*Citizen card supported by the Home Office
*Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union bearing a
*photogragh of the Holder
That the premises will have at least 2 licensed Door Supervisors on site from 10pm until half an hour after closure on every Friday, Saturday, any Sunday preceding any Bank Holiday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and any day when the premises will open beyond 4-30am (This condition will be void for any Private function that the premises hold for a specific special occasion celebration such as a birthday party or wedding function that the general public do not have access to ).
All individuals who carry out security activities must be licensed by the Security industry Authority
That the premises will be completely glass free with all sales served only in plastic or polycarbonate containers
Public safety
Customers who are intoxicated will be refused entry
Customers who are drunk on the premises will be refused to be served
Staff training on all Health and Safety aspects
Regular fire checks and tests, all fire escapes to be clear and checked each day of opening
Regular toilet checks for drugs
Random searches will take place
Full co-operation with police
To ensure all relevant H&S procedures are followed and staff are trained. Display of H&S posters
No smoking signs displayed.
Public nuisance
The customers will be advised through the PA system and internal signage to respect the neighbours and leave the premises quietly
Vigilance from myself and all staff with regard to alcohol people’s limits etc, ensuring they are not served alcohol
To keep noise at safe levels depending on time of day
To ensure people leave venue in quiet order by use of myself and door staff
Protection of children from harm
That all underage events at the premises should be governed by a comprehensive documented Risk Assessment policy which should follow Lancashire Constabulary Licensing guidelines and be agreed by the local Police Licensing Unit responsible for the Accrington area.
That any such underage events will always cease at a reasonable and responsible time agreed to by the Police Licensing Unit - Closing times for such events will be governed by the Premises Supplementary Conditions which will be will be agreed to by the Police Licensing Officer and Level One management.
That the Eastern Division Police Licensing Unit must be given at least 7 days written notice of any underage events.
