ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS IMPOSED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE & UNDER PARAGRAPH 6(6) SCHEDULE 8 LICENSING ACT 2003
The premises will operate in accordance with the premises plan submitted on 3/10/11
DPS shall ensure at all times when the premises are open for any licensable activity there are sufficient competent staff on duty at the premises for the purposes of fulfilling the terms and conditions of the licence and for preventing crime and disorder.
Prevention of Crime and disorder
Persons who appear to be under the age of 21 years shall be required to produce proof of age by way of one of the following:
- A recognised proof of age card accredited under the British Retail Consortiums Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS)
- Photo driving licence
- Passport
- Citizen card supported by the Home Office
- Official ID card issued by HM Forces or European Union Member State bearing a photograph and birth date of the holder.
Public Safety
All exit routes and exits shall be kept unobstructed, in good order with non-slippery and even surfaces, free of trip hazards and clearly identified.
Access to the premises for emergency vehicles shall be kept clear and free from obstruction.
A CCTV system shall be installed, maintained and operated at the premises to the satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary and shall be used to record during all hours that the premises are open to the public.
Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by this licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises is safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
Staff will be trained for to deal with unwanted disorder.
Gaming and cigarette machine shall be in clear view of the bar area.
Prevention of public nuisance
There shall be no irresponsible drinks promotions which would contravene the British Beer and Pub Association Code of Practice Point of sale Promotions.
There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
The DPS shall become a member of the local Pub watch scheme and shall attend meetings in accordance with the Pub watch rules.
Noise and vibration should not be audible within nearby residential properties as a result of noise emissions from the licensed premises.
Customers will not be served if they are intoxicated or causing a nuisance.
A strict dress code will be in place.
Protection of children from harm
Children will not be allowed on the premises during opening hours.
