Signage - Premise policy is enforced in a non-confrontational manner outlining age restriction policies.
Premises ensures drinks promotions do not encourage binge drinking.
There is a zero tolerance for nuisance - there is established contact with the local police authority to enforce this.
A CCTV system to be installed operated and maintained to the satisfaction of the Lancashire Constabulary. Images contained thereon are to be retained for a minimum period of one calendar month and a copy must be made available for any police officer or other authorised officer to take away upon request.
Challenge 21 scheme to be applied in relation to the sale of alcohol to young persons.
Documented staff training to be undertaken in relation to the sale of alcohol and other age restricted products.
Ensure adequate staffing at busy times.
Panic buttons are installed, any disturbance is reported directly to the Police.
Basic safety requirements are met by way of having PAT tests undertaken on electrical equipment.
Heating installations have safety checks, all repairs and maintenance work is undertaken in good time.

Adequate arrangements exist to enable safe evacuation in the event of an emergency for disabled people i.e. ramps entrance and exit.
Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials are available in the premises.
It is required for a staff member on duty to sweep the area outside the premises daily, also when and as required.
Staff members are aware they should be at their guard for children at risk and they have a responsibility to report any children at risk and they feel may be at risk.
